Welcome to the Matakana Sauna & Spa! Your place to relax and recharge in the heart of Point Wells village, just minutes from Matakana.

This private spa has everything you need in one dreamy outdoor space: a large traditional sauna, hot tub, and ice bath. Once you’ve booked, the entire space is yours — no sharing, no crowds, just good vibes and total privacy.

It’s perfect for quality time with friends, team-building sessions, bachelorette parties, family resets, or a memorable date. Warm up in the sauna, rinse off in the outdoor shower, then take the plunge into the ice bath before heading back to the heat. Repeat as many times as you like. Finish things off with a long, blissful soak in the hot tub.

Pricing and Amenities

The spa is available in one or two hour blocks

  • 9am to 11 am

  • 1pm to 3pm

  • 5pm to 7pm

  • Sauna only 1 hour: $55 for first person, $22 for each extra person.

  • Entire spa 2 hours (Sauna, Ice bath, hot tub): $80 for first person, $22 for each extra person.
